Traditionally they were used over hot coals in a ‘qanoon’. We stock a range of traditional style tajines that have a rustic look. They can be used in the oven or over a gas flame (with a heat diffusing mat available from good kitchen stores). There is also a modern look tajine which has a cleaner finish and some simple decoration. Both styles are available in various sizes starting from 20cm for an individual serve, up to 40cm for large gatherings.

Our range is personally selected from several regions in Morocco, including Fès and Safi. Each region produces its own unique style of exquisite hand painted decoration. Cookware
We stock traditional couscoussiers. For fun outdoor entertaining Moroccan style try a qanoon. Simply place coals in the base and place your tajine on top for slow simmering of meat and vegetables.
